Your First Visit to Wickwire Chiropractic and Wellness Center
in Cedar Rapids
We have worked hard to ensure an energizing and inviting atmosphere at Wickwire Chiropractic and Wellness Center. We designed the space to be comfortable and make you feel at home. You will find plenty of convenient parking in our large parking lot, will be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our office.
Initial Paperwork & Consultation
You will be seated in a quiet room within direct view of the front desk to fill out your initial paperwork. If you have any questions or concerns, just ask one of our friendly staff members at the front desk. When the paperwork is finished we will likely show you a short 5-minute video before meeting with Dr. Wickwire for your consultation and assessment. This meeting will include a brief conversation and review of your health history.
Examination & Assessment
At this point Dr. Wickwire will have decided if chiropractic care could benefit you. Your first visit will conclude with a thorough examination and assessment that will look at what areas of your spine and nervous system are involved and related to your health challenges. In some cases x-rays may be needed for proper diagnosis. If other forms of care are more appropriate, he'll tell you that, too! We work closely with many other health care providers so you receive the best care possible.
Plan on 30 - 45 minutes for your First Visit, but come early to fill out your initial paperwork. If you want to speed things up, download the initial paperwork so you can fill it out at home. Don’t be late; your health is very important to us, and we want to take the time we need during your First Visit.
Schedule your next Appointment (Report of Findings)
Last, you will check out at the front desk with Melissa and schedule a time to return for your results of our findings. This allows us time to prepare the best plan to help you meet your health goals after reviewing your history and examination findings.
We will discuss each step as you go along. Our clients appreciate the fact that we explain everything in advance!
