Your Second Visit & Regular Visits
Your Second Visit

After checking in with Melissa, your second visit will begin with what we call the "Report of Findings" or in other words… we give you the results of your exams.
Dr. Wickwire determines his recommendations after taking the time to correlate your health history and examination findings. His recommendations are designed to help you best achieve (or exceed!) your health goals.
Report of Findings
Dr. Wickwire will sit down with you and any family member that is there to support you. He will spend about 30 minutes going over the x-rays and results from day one. He will then let you know how long he believes it will take for you to start to feel better and regain function. This consultation will include costs and all expectations. After your consultation, Dr. Wickwire will give you your first adjustment.
This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:
- Reduces the length of your first visit
- Gives us time to correlate our findings
- Avoids overloading you with too much information
In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Wickwire, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.
Regular Visits
On day three our regular visits will begin. You start by signing in at the front desk. From there the office staff will show you to your treatment room. Dr. Wickwire will enter the room to begin the adjustments. This is sometime followed by any therapy that may be needed. We provide both active and passive physiotherapy if needed.
Treatment Time
Your treatments will take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.
Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes. We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
